about

“Destructional is the first song we put out that has a global message. The word itself describes someone of or pertaining to destruction. Someone who has to destroy and deface in order for his/her existence to be possible. In our opinion, a very fitting way to portray the way mankind treats every other living thing around it. We aimed to depict an issue which affects all of us through a character that the people will hopefully sympathize with. A character which speaks and acts for the entire natural world. However we’re not questioning “if” nature will recover from our actions because it eventually will, with or without us. It’s the “if” we’ll ever learn to advance our species & civilization peacefully with respect to life on this planet, that we’re putting into question.” - Within Progress

lyrics

Flames are
Spreading
Turn back
Help me

I'm drowning
I'm gasping
For one breath
To cheat death

Black tears
So thick I can't see
Black wings
I'll never fly

How dare you
Force yourself on me
It's coming
Spreading, spreading

Tell us what's wrong with you
What are you waiting for?
What are you waiting, tell us where we stand
before the end

And all the things you've done
Who will pay for them?
Who will give me back my wings again?
Destructional

I'm unclean
A poison in me
This coating
As dark as the sea

I'll haunt you
Won't let you forget
This image
Spreading, spreading

I don't expect you to help me, I know you won't
My eyes are still burning, I'm breathing fire
I'll never forgive you, never forgive you
Have it your way then, just try and hide

Tell us what's wrong with you
What are you waiting for?
What are you waiting, tell us where we stand
before the end

And all the things you've done
Who will pay for them?
Who will give me back my wings again?
Destructional

I'll fly as high as the highest sky
I won't rest, I won't sleep until I see you die
A lesson taught but you'll never learn
So I won't rest or sleep until I see you...burn!

Tell us what's wrong with you
What are you waiting for?
Tell us where we stand
before the end

And all the things you've done
Who will pay for them?
Give me back my wings again!
Destructional
